    Position Summary

    The successful candidate will work independently to investigate, evaluate, negotiate and settle all lines of insurance claims.  As an independent insurance adjuster the successful candidate will be responsible for working with various insurance companies, their  protocols and in ensuring accurate recording, reporting, and presentation of confidential claim files.


    The Evaluation of claims through loss investigation and negotiates settlements in accordance with provincial licensing requirements, while maintaining adequate production levels and customer relationships.

    Requirements

    • 1-3 years insurance claims experience an asset
    • Post-secondary education in an insurance related field considered an asset
    • Licensed or working towards CIP designation is an asset
    • Strong computer and reporting skills including Microsoft Office and Windows
    • Must be a team player with outstanding customer service skills
    • Compensation and disability management experience in all provinces would be considered an asset
    • Ability to demonstrate empathy, and maintain control and work independently if necessary.
    • French/English bilingualism would be considered an asset
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Able to manage multiple priorities and organize
    • Ability to travel to claimant’s homes, and other branches for training
    • Work within a dynamic team approach.
